Azotus (Ashdod), a Philistine city (Noun, Feminine)

Acts 8:40. But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

Judges 1:18. Also Judah took Gaza with the coast thereof, and Askelon with the coast thereof, and Ekron with the coast thereof.

1 Samuel 5:1. And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Ebenezer unto Ashdod.
