James 3:13. Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
Deuteronomy 1:13. Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.
Deuteronomy 1:15. So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.
Deuteronomy 4:6. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
Sirach 10:25. The fear of God is the glory of the rich, and of the honourable, and of the poor.
Sirach 21:15. But there is a wisdom that aboundeth in evil: and there is no understanding where there is bitterness.
Sirach 40:29. My son, in thy lifetime be not indigent: for it is better to die than to want.
Sirach 47:12. And to the festivals he added beauty, and set in order the solemn times even to the end of his life, that they should praise the holy name of the Lord, and magnify the holiness of God in the morning.
Isaiah 5:21. Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
Daniel 1:4. Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.
