Matthew 15:8. This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Sirach 23:8. A sinner is caught in his own vanity, and the proud and the evil speakers shall fall thereby.
Sirach 31:23. Watching, and choler, and gripes, are with an intemperate man:
Sirach 39:15. If he continue, he shall leave a name above a thousand: and if he rest, it shall be to his advantage.
Sirach 40:16. The weed growing over every water, and at the bank of the river, shall be pulled up before all grass.
Sirach 50:20. And the singers lifted up their voices, and in the great house the sound of sweet melody was increased.

Daniel 10:4. And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel;
Daniel 10:16. And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
Daniel 3:36. To whom thou hast spoken, promising that thou wouldst multiply their seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand that is on the sea shore.
Hosea 14:2. Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
Habakkuk 3:16. When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.
