Matthew 5:48. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Job 10:16. For it increaseth. Thou huntest me as a fierce lion: and again thou shewest thyself marvellous upon me.

Job 11:15. For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:
Job 11:16. Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away:
Job 11:17. And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday; thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.
Job 12:25. They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
Job 13:28. And he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment that is moth eaten.
Job 14:2. He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.
Job 14:6. Turn from him, that he may rest, till he shall accomplish, as an hireling, his day.
Job 14:9. Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.
Job 15:24. Trouble and anguish shall make him afraid; they shall prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle.
Job 15:33. He shall shake off his unripe grape as the vine, and shall cast off his flower as the olive.
Job 16:12. I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken me by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.
Job 18:3. Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?
Job 19:10. He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree.
Job 19:11. He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies.

Job 21:18. They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away.
Job 22:25. Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.
Job 23:10. But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
Job 24:5. Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children.
Job 24:20. The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.
Job 24:24. They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
Job 27:7. Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.

Job 30:18. By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.

Job 33:24. Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
Job 33:25. His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:
Job 34:7. What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?
Job 34:36. My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.
Job 37:21. And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
Job 38:3. Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
Job 38:30. The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.
Job 38:38. When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?
Job 40:7. Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
Job 41:5. Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?
Job 41:15. His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.
Job 41:24. His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone.
Job 41:27. He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood.
Job 41:30. Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire.
Job 41:31. He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
Job 41:32. He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.
Job 42:7. And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.
Proverbs 1:12. Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:

Jeremiah 31:12. Jeremiah 32:30. For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have only done evil before me from their youth: for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 32:34. But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it.
Jeremiah 32:38. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:
Jeremiah 43:12. And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace.
Jeremiah 46:21. Also her hired men are in the midst of her like fatted bullocks; for they also are turned back, and are fled away together: they did not stand, because the day of their calamity was come upon them, and the time of their visitation.
Jeremiah 48:6. Flee, save your lives, and be like the heath in the wilderness.

Jeremiah 49:16. Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, and the pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 49:18. As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD, no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it.
Jeremiah 49:19. Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?
Jeremiah 49:22. Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
Jeremiah 50:8. Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks.
Jeremiah 50:42. They shall hold the bow and the lance: they are cruel, and will not shew mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon.
Jeremiah 50:44. Baruch 4:24. For as the neighbours of Sion have now seen your captivity from God: so shall they also shortly see your salvation from God, which shall come upon you with great honour, and everlasting glory.
Baruch 4:28. For as it was your mind to go astray from God; so when you return again you shall seek him ten times as much.
Baruch 4:33. For as she rejoiced at thy ruin, and was glad of thy fall: so shall she be grieved for her own desolation.
Ezekiel 34:12. As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
Ezekiel 36:11. And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
Daniel 2:40. And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.
Daniel 2:43. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
Daniel 7:8. I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
Hosea 9:7. The days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred.
Hosea 13:3. Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney.
Micah 7:18. Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
