Sirach 31:30. Challenge not them that love wine: for wine hath destroyed very many.
Sirach 34:1. The hopes of a man that is void of understanding are vain and deceitful: and dreams lift up fools.
Isaiah 59:7. Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
Jeremiah 4:22. For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
Jeremiah 17:11. As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.
