ὡς

unto carnal,

unto babes

Christ.

I have fed

ποτίζω

you

ὑμᾶς

with milk,

γάλα

and

not

οὐ

with meat:

βρῶμα

for

γάρ

hitherto

οὔπω

ye were

δύναμαι

not

οὔπω

able

δύναμαι

to bear it, neither

ἀλλά

οὔτε

yet

ἔτι

now

νῦν

are ye able.

carnal:

σαρκικός

for

γάρ

whereas

ὅπου

there is among

ἐν

you

ὑμῖν

envying,

ζῆλος

strife,

divisions,

διχοστασία

are ye

ἐστέ

not

οὐχί

carnal,

σαρκικός

and

καί

walk

περιπατέω

as

κατά

men?

ye not

carnal?

gave the increase.

he that planteth

any thing,

he that watereth;

that giveth the increase.

the foundation,

buildeth

thereon. But

βλέπω

every man

take heed

βλέπω

how

he buildeth

thereupon.

that is laid,

foundation

gold,

χρυσός

silver,

ἄργυρος

precious

stones,

χόρτος

stubble;

καλάμη

Every man's

work

ἔργον

shall be made

γίνομαι

manifest:

φανερός

for

γάρ

the day

ἡμέρα

shall declare

δηλόω

it, because

ὅτι

it shall be revealed

ἀποκαλύπτω

by

ἐν

fire;

πῦρ

and

καί

the fire

πῦρ

shall try

δοκιμάζω

every man's

ἕκαστος

work

ἔργον

of what sort

ὁποῖος

it is.

ἐστί

If any man's

work

ἔργον

abide

μένω

which

he hath built

ἐποικοδομέω

thereupon, he shall receive

λαμβάνω

a reward.

μισθός

If any man's

εἴ

work

ἔργον

shall be burned,

κατακαίω

he shall suffer loss:

ζημιόω

but

δέ

he himself

αὐτός

shall be saved;

σῴζω

yet

δέ

so

οὕτως

as

ὡς

by

fire.

If any man

defile

φθείρω

the temple

ναός

of God,

him

φθείρω

θεός

destroy;

φθείρω

for

the temple

is

ἐστί

holy,

ἅγιος

which

ὅστις

temple ye

ὑμεῖς

are.

ἐστέ

Let

ἐξαπατάω

no man

μηδείς

deceive

ἐξαπατάω

himself.

ἑαυτοῦ

If any man

εἴ

among

ἐν

you

ὑμῖν

seemeth

δοκέω

to be

εἶναι

wise

σοφός

in

ἐν

this

τούτῳ

world,

αἰών

let him become

γίνομαι

a fool,

μωρός

that

ἵνα

he may be

γίνομαι

wise.

the wisdom

of this

world

κόσμος

is

foolishness

μωρία

with

παρά

God.

For

it is written,

γράφω

He taketh

δράσσομαι

the wise

σοφός

their own

craftiness.

knoweth

the thoughts

of the wise,

no man

μηδείς

glory

καυχάομαι

in

men.

For

all things

ἐστί

yours;

Whether

εἴτε

Paul,

Παῦλος

or

εἴτε

Apollos,

Ἀπολλώς

or

εἴτε

Cephas,

Κηφᾶς

or

εἴτε

the world,

κόσμος

or

εἴτε

life,

ζωή

or

εἴτε

death,

θάνατος

or

εἴτε

things present,

ἐνίστημι

or

εἴτε

things to come;

μέλλω

all

πᾶς

are

ἐστί

yours;

ὑμῶν

are Christ's;

Χριστός

and

δέ

Christ

Χριστός

is God's.
