Stand fast

in the liberty

entangled

with the yoke

of bondage.

unto you,

ἐάν

ye be circumcised,

περιτέμνω

shall profit

ὑμᾶς

nothing.

οὐδείς

I testify

μαρτύρομαι

again

πάλιν

to every

πᾶς

man

ἄνθρωπος

that is circumcised,

περιτέμνω

that

ὅτι

he is

ἐστί

a debtor

ὀφειλέτης

to do

ποιέω

the whole

law.

is become of no effect unto you,

whosoever of you

are justified

δικαιόω

ἐν

the law;

ye are fallen from

grace.

through the Spirit

wait for

ἀπεκδέχομαι

the hope

ἐλπίς

of righteousness

faith.

neither

circumcision

availeth

ἰσχύω

any thing,

uncircumcision;

faith

which worketh

by

love.

cometh not

ἐκ

him that calleth

he that troubleth

shall bear

his judgment,

whosoever

he be.

κηρύσσω

preach

κηρύσσω

circumcision,

περιτομή

why

τίς

do I

διώκω

yet

ἔτι

suffer persecution?

ἄρα

is

καταργέω

the offence

σκάνδαλον

of the cross

σταυρός

ceased.

cut off

ἀποκόπτω

which trouble

you.

For,

brethren,

ἀδελφός

have been called

καλέω

unto

ἐπί

liberty;

ἐλευθερία

only

μόνον

use not

μή

liberty

ἐλευθερία

for

εἰς

an occasion

ἀφορμή

to the flesh,

σάρξ

but

ἀλλά

by

διά

love

ἀγάπη

serve

δουλεύω

one another.

ἀλλήλων

the law

is fulfilled

πληρόω

in

word,

λόγος

even in

ἐν

this; Thou shalt love

thyself.

devour

one another,

take heed

βλέπω

that ye be

ἀναίδεια

μή

consumed

another.

Walking by the Spirit

This I say

then,

Walk

περιπατέω

in the Spirit,

πνεῦμα

and

ye shall

τελέω

not

οὐ

fulfil

τελέω

the lust

ἐπιθυμία

of the flesh.

the flesh

lusteth

ἐπιθυμέω

against

κατά

the Spirit,

πνεῦμα

and

δέ

the Spirit

πνεῦμα

the flesh:

σάρξ

δέ

these

ταῦτα

are contrary

ἀντίκειμαι

the one to the other:

ἀλλήλων

so that

ἵνα

ye cannot

ἵνα

do

ποιέω

the things

ταῦτα

that

ὅς

ἄν

ye would.

ye be led

ἄγω

of the Spirit,

πνεῦμα

ye are

ἐστέ

not

οὐ

ὑπό

the law.

the works

ἔργον

of the flesh

manifest,

φανερός

which

ὅστις

are

ἐστί

these; Adultery,

μοιχεία

fornication,

πορνεία

uncleanness,

ἀκαθαρσία

lasciviousness,

ἀσέλγεια

Idolatry,

εἰδωλολατρεία

witchcraft,

φαρμακεία

hatred,

ἔχθρα

variance,

ἔρις

emulations,

ζῆλος

wrath,

θυμός

strife,

ἐριθεία

seditions,

διχοστασία

heresies,

αἵρεσις

Envyings,

φθόνος

murders,

φόνος

drunkenness,

μέθη

revellings,

κῶμος

and

καί

such

τούτοις

like:

ὅμοιος

of the which

ὅς

I tell

προλέγω

you

ὑμῖν

before,

προλέγω

as

καθώς

I have

also

καί

told you in time past,

that

ὅτι

they which do

πράσσω

such things

τοιοῦτος

shall

κληρονομέω

not

οὐ

inherit

κληρονομέω

the kingdom

βασιλεία

of God.

love,

joy,

peace,

longsuffering,

faith,

Meekness,

πρᾳότης

temperance:

ἐγκράτεια

against

there is

ἐστί

no

law.

they that are

have crucified

the flesh

the affections

lusts.

we live

in the Spirit,

let us

στοιχέω

also

καί

walk

στοιχέω

in the Spirit.

Let us

γίνομαι

not

μή

be

γίνομαι

desirous of vain glory,

κενόδοξας

provoking

προκαλέομαι

one another,

ἀλλήλων

envying

φθονέω

one another.
