unto the fathers

the prophets,

Hath

these

last

ἔσχατος

days

ἡμέρα

spoken

λαλέω

unto us

ἡμῖν

by

ἐν

his Son,

υἱός

whom

ὅς

he hath appointed

τίθημι

heir

κληρονόμος

of all things,

πᾶς

by

διά

whom

ὅς

also

καί

he made

ποιέω

the worlds;

αἰών

Who

ὅς

being

ὤν

the brightness

ἀπαύγασμα

of his glory,

δόξα

and

καί

the express image

χαρακτήρ

of his

αὐτός

person,

ὑπόστασις

and

τέ

upholding

φέρω

all things

πᾶς

by the word

ῥῆμα

of his

αὐτός

power,

δύναμις

when he had

ποιέω

καθαρισμός

by

διά

himself

ἑαυτοῦ

purged

ποιέω

καθαρισμός

our

ἡμῶν

sins,

ἁμαρτία

sat down

καθίζω

on

ἐν

the right hand

δεξιός

of the Majesty

μεγαλωσύνη

on

ἐν

high;

ὑψηλός

Being made

γίνομαι

so much

τοσοῦτος

better than

κρείττων

the angels,

ἄγγελος

as

ὅσος

he hath by inheritance obtained

κληρονομέω

a more excellent

διάφορος

name

ὄνομα

than

παρά

they.

For

γάρ

unto which

of the angels

ἄγγελος

said he

at any time,

ποτέ

Thou

σύ

art

εἶ

my

μοῦ

Son,

υἱός

this day

σήμερον

have

γεννάω

I

ἐγώ

begotten

γεννάω

thee?

σέ

And

καί

again,

πάλιν

I

ἐγώ

will be

ἔσομαι

to

εἰς

him

αὐτός

a Father,

πατήρ

and

καί

he

αὐτός

shall be

ἔσομαι

to

εἰς

me

μοί

a Son?

υἱός

And

δέ

again,

πάλιν

when

ὅταν

he bringeth in

εἰσάγω

the firstbegotten

πρωτότοκος

into

εἰς

the world,

οἰκουμένη

he saith,

λέγω

And

καί

let

προσκυνέω

all

πᾶς

the angels

ἄγγελος

of God

θεός

worship

προσκυνέω

him.

αὐτός

And

καί

of

πρός

μέν

the angels

ἄγγελος

he saith,

λέγω

Who maketh

ποιέω

his

αὐτός

angels

ἄγγελος

spirits,

πνεῦμα

and

καί

his

αὐτός

ministers

λειτουργός

a flame

φλόξ

of fire.

unto

πρός

the Son

υἱός

he saith, Thy

σοῦ

throne,

θρόνος

O God,

θεός

is for

εἰς

ever

αἰών

and ever:

αἰών

a sceptre

ῥάβδος

of righteousness

εὐθύτης

is the sceptre

ῥάβδος

of thy

σοῦ

kingdom.

βασιλεία

Thou hast loved

ἀγαπάω

righteousness,

δικαιοσύνη

and

καί

hated

μισέω

iniquity;

ἀνομία

therefore

διά

τοῦτο

God,

θεός

even thy

σοῦ

God,

θεός

hath anointed

χρίω

thee

σέ

with the oil

ἔλαιον

of gladness

ἀγαλλίασις

above

παρά

thy

σοῦ

fellows.

μέτοχος

And,

καί

Thou,

σύ

Lord,

κύριος

in

κατά

the beginning

ἀρχή

hast laid the foundation

θεμελιόω

of the earth;

γῆ

and

καί

the heavens

οὐρανός

are

εἰσί3rd

the works

ἔργον

of thine

σοῦ

hands:

χείρ

They

αὐτός

shall perish;

ἀπόλλυμι

but

δέ

thou

σύ

remainest;

διαμένω

and

καί

they all

πᾶς

shall wax old

παλαιόω

as

ὡς

doth a garment;

ἱμάτιον

And

καί

as

ὡσεί

a vesture

περιβόλαιον

shalt thou fold

ἑλίσσω

them

αὐτός

up,

ἑλίσσω

and

καί

they shall be changed:

ἀλλάσσω

but

δέ

thou

σύ

art

εἶ

the same,

αὐτός

and

καί

thy

σοῦ

years

ἔτος

shall

ἐκλείπω

not

οὐ

fail.

ἐκλείπω

But

δέ

to

πρός

which

τίς

of the angels

ἄγγελος

said he

ἐρεῶ

at any time,

ποτέ

Sit

κάθημαι

on

ἐκ

my

μοῦ

right hand,

δεξιός

until

ἄν

ἕως

I make

τίθημι

thine

σοῦ

enemies

ἐχθρός

thy

σοῦ

footstool?

ὑποπόδιον

πούς

Are they

εἰσί3rd

not

οὐχί

all

πᾶς

ministering

λειτουργικός

spirits,

πνεῦμα

sent forth

ἀποστέλλω

to

εἰς

minister

διακονία

for

διά

them who shall

μέλλω

be heirs of

κληρονομέω

salvation?

σωτηρία
