These things

have I spoken

unto you,

be offended.

out of the synagogues:

cometh,

ὑμᾶς

will think

δοκέω

that he doeth

προσφέρω

they have

γινώσκω

οὐ

known

these things

have I told

you,

the time

shall come,

ye may remember

ὑμῖν

of them.

these things

I said

unto you

ἐκ

the beginning,

ἀρχή

because

ὅτι

you.

sorrow

hath filled

the truth;

ἀλήθεια

It is expedient

συμφέρω

for you

ὑμῖν

go away:

ἀπέρχομαι

γάρ

if

ἐὰν

I go

ἀπέρχομαι

not

ἐὰν

away,

ἀπέρχομαι

the Comforter

παράκλητος

will

ἔρχομαι

not

οὐ

come

ἔρχομαι

unto

πρός

you;

ὑμᾶς

if

ἐάν

I depart,

πορεύομαι

I will send

they believe

judgment,

the prince

is judged.

bear them

Howbeit

he,

ἐκεῖνος

the Spirit

πνεῦμα

of truth,

ἀλήθεια

is come,

ἔρχομαι

he will guide

ὁδηγέω

you

ὑμᾶς

into

εἰς

all

πᾶς

truth:

ἀλήθεια

for

γάρ

he shall

λαλέω

not

οὐ

speak

λαλέω

of

ἀπό

himself;

ἑαυτοῦ

but

ἀλλά

whatsoever

ὅσος

ἄν

he shall hear,

ἀκούω

that shall he speak:

λαλέω

and

καί

he will shew

ἀναγγέλλω

you

ὑμῖν

things to come.

he shall receive

All things

the Father

they were desirous

Do ye enquire

shall be sorrowful,

shall be turned

joy.

sorrow,

is come:

as soon as

she is delivered

of the child,

she remembereth

the anguish,

θλῖψις

that

is born

thou camest forth

peace.

ἐν

tribulation:

θλῖψις

but

ἀλλά

be of good cheer;

θαρσέω

have overcome

νικάω

the world.
