and anoint

him.

early in the morning

the first

day of the week,

they came

ἔρχομαι

unto

ἐπί

the sepulchre

μνημεῖον

at the rising

ἀνατέλλω

of the sun.

they said

among

πρός

themselves,

ἑαυτοῦ

Who

τίς

shall roll

ἀποκυλίω

us

ἡμῖν

away

ἀποκυλίω

the stone

λίθος

from

ἐκ

the door

θύρα

of the sepulchre?

when they looked,

ἀναβλέπω

they saw

θεωρέω

that

ὅτι

the stone

λίθος

was rolled away:

ἀποκυλίω

for

γάρ

it was

ἦν

very

σφόδρα

great.

μέγας

And

καί

entering

εἰσέρχομαι

into

εἰς

the sepulchre,

μνημεῖον

they saw

οἶδα

a young man

νεανίσκος

sitting

κάθημαι

on

ἐν

the right side,

δεξιός

clothed

περιβάλλω

in a long white

λευκός

garment;

στολή

and

καί

they were affrighted.

ἐκθαμβέομαι

he saith

λέγω

unto them,

Be

ἐκθαμβέομαι

not

μή

affrighted:

ἐκθαμβέομαι

Ye seek

ζητέω

Jesus

Ἰησοῦς

of Nazareth,

Ναζαρηνός

which

ὁ

was crucified:

σταυρόω

he is risen;

ἐγείρω

he is

ἐστί

not

οὐ

here:

ὧδε

behold

ἴδε

the place

τόπος

where

ὅπου

they laid

him.

go your way,

ὑπάγω

tell

disciples

he goeth before

into

Galilee:

there

ἐκεῖ

shall ye see

ὀπτάνομαι

him,

αὐτός

as

καθώς

he said

unto you.

they went out

ἐξέρχομαι

quickly,

ταχύ

and fled

φεύγω

from

ἀπό

the sepulchre;

trembled

ἔχω

τρόμος

were amazed:

ἔκστασις

neither

καί

said they

any thing

οὐδείς

to any

οὐδείς

man; for

γάρ

they were afraid.

out of

ἀπό

whom

ὅς

he had cast

ἐκβάλλω

seven

ἑπτά

devils.

And she

went

πορεύομαι

and told

ἀπαγγέλλω

them that had been

γίνομαι

with

μετά

him,

αὐτός

as they mourned

πενθέω

and

καί

wept.

And they,

when they had heard

ἀκούω

that

ὅτι

he was alive,

ζάω

and

καί

had been seen

θεάομαι

of

ὑπό

her,

believed not.

and told

ἀπαγγέλλω

it unto the residue:

believed they

πιστεύω

them.

unto the eleven

as they

sat at meat,

upbraided

ὀνειδίζω

hardness of heart,

σκληροκαρδία

because

ὅτι

they believed

πιστεύω

not

οὐ

them which had seen

him

after he was risen.

he said

unto them,

Go ye

πορεύομαι

into

εἰς

all

ἅπας

the world,

κόσμος

and preach

κηρύσσω

the gospel

εὐαγγέλιον

to every

πᾶς

creature.

κτίσις

He that believeth

πιστεύω

and

καί

is baptized

βαπτίζω

shall be saved;

σῴζω

but

δέ

he that believeth not

ἀπιστέω

shall be damned.

κατακρίνω

And

δέ

these

ταῦτα

signs

σημεῖον

shall follow

παρακολουθέω

them that believe;

πιστεύω

In

ἐν

my

μοῦ

name

ὄνομα

shall they cast out

ἐκβάλλω

devils;

δαιμόνιον

they shall speak

λαλέω

with new

καινός

tongues;

γλῶσσα

They shall take up

αἴρω

serpents;

ὄφις

and if

κἄν

they drink

πίνω

any

τις

deadly

θανάσιμος

thing,

τις

it shall not

οὐ

hurt

βλάπτω

them;

αὐτός

they shall lay

ἐπιτίθημι

hands

χείρ

on

ἐπί

the sick,

ἄρρωστος

and

καί

they shall

ἔχω

recover.

καλῶς

Ascension

So

μέν

then

οὖν

after

μετά

the Lord

κύριος

had spoken

λαλέω

unto them,

αὐτός

he was received up

ἀναλαμβάνω

into

εἰς

heaven,

οὐρανός

and

καί

sat

καθίζω

on

ἐκ

the right hand

δεξιός

of God.

And

δέ

they

ἐκεῖνος

went forth,

ἐξέρχομαι

and preached

κηρύσσω

every where,

πανταχοῦ

the Lord

κύριος

working with

συνεργέω

them, and

καί

confirming

βεβαιόω

the word

λόγος

with

διά

signs

σημεῖον

following.

ἐπακολουθέω
