the kingdom

unto a man

that is an householder,

οἰκοδεσπότης

went out

ἐξέρχομαι

early in the morning

ἅμα

to hire

μισθόω

labourers

ἐργάτης

into

εἰς

his

αὐτός

vineyard.

when he had agreed

συμφωνέω

with

μετά

the labourers

ἐργάτης

for

ἐκ

a penny

δηνάριον

a day,

ἡμέρα

he sent

ἀποστέλλω

them

αὐτός

into

εἰς

his

αὐτός

vineyard.

he went out

ἐξέρχομαι

about

περί

the third

τρίτος

hour,

ὥρα

and saw

οἶδα

ἄλλος

standing

the marketplace,

unto them;

Go

ὑπάγω

ye

ὑμεῖς

the vineyard,

whatsoever

ἐάν

right

I will give

you.

And

they went their way.

he went out

the sixth

ninth

ἔνατος

hour,

ὥρα

and did

likewise.

ἑνδέκατος

hour

he went out,

ἐξέρχομαι

and found

εὑρίσκω

others

ἄλλος

standing

ἵστημι

idle,

ἀργός

saith

unto them,

Why

stand ye

ἵστημι

here

ὧδε

all

ὅλος

the day

ἡμέρα

idle?

unto him,

no man

οὐδείς

hath hired

μισθόω

us.

He saith

unto them,

the vineyard;

ἀμπελών

whatsoever

that shall ye receive.

steward,

the labourers,

ἀποδίδωμι

them

αὐτός

their hire,

μισθός

beginning

ἄρχομαι

from

the last

ἔσχατος

unto

ἕως

the first.

when they came

that were hired about

the eleventh

hour,

they received

every man

a penny.

they supposed

that

they should have received

λαμβάνω

more;

πλείων

they likewise

of the day.

of them,

and said,

Friend,

ἑταῖρος

I do

ἀδικέω

thee

no

wrong:

ἀδικέω

οὐχί

thou agree

συμφωνέω

with me

μοί

for a penny?

Take

that thine

is, and

go thy way:

unto thee.

chosen.

the twelve

disciples

the way,

said

unto them,

Behold,

ἰδού

we go up

ἀναβαίνω

to

εἰς

Jerusalem;

Ἱεροσόλυμα

and

the Son

υἱός

of man

ἄνθρωπος

shall be betrayed

παραδίδωμι

unto the chief priests

ἀρχιερεύς

and

καί

unto the scribes,

γραμματεύς

and

καί

they shall condemn

κατακρίνω

him

to death,

to the Gentiles

to scourge,

ye ask.

to drink

drink of,

to be baptized

with the baptism

it, they were moved with indignation

brethren.

them

unto him, and said,

Ye know

οἶδα

that

ὅτι

the princes

ἄρχων

of the Gentiles

ἔθνος

exercise dominion over

κατακυριεύω

them,

αὐτός

and

they that are great

μέγας

exercise authority upon

κατεξουσιάζω

them.

ἔσομαι

whosoever

ἐάν

you,

ὑμῖν

let him be

ἔστω

your

ὑμῶν

minister;

Even as

ὥσπερ

the Son

υἱός

of man

ἄνθρωπος

came

ἔρχομαι

not

οὐ

to be ministered unto,

διακονέω

but

ἀλλά

to minister,

διακονέω

and

καί

to give

δίδωμι

his

αὐτός

life

ψυχή

a ransom

λύτρον

for

ἀντί

many.

multitude

him.

blind men

sitting

κάθημαι

by the way

side,

when they heard

ἀκούω

that

ὅτι

Jesus

Ἰησοῦς

passed by,

cried out,

κράζω

saying,

λέγω

Have mercy

ἐλεέω

on us,

ἡμᾶς

O Lord,

κύριος

thou Son

υἱός

of David.

the multitude

ὄχλος

rebuked

ἐπιτιμάω

them,

αὐτός

because

ἵνα

they should hold their peace:

σιωπάω

but

δέ

they cried

κράζω

the more,

μεῖζον

saying,

λέγω

Have mercy

ἐλεέω

on us,

ἡμᾶς

O Lord,

κύριος

thou Son

υἱός

of David.

them,

eyes

may be opened.

Jesus

Ἰησοῦς

had compassion

σπλαγχνίζομαι

on them, and touched

ἅπτομαι

their

αὐτός

eyes:

ὀφθαλμός

and

καί

immediately

εὐθέως

their

αὐτός

eyes

ὀφθαλμός

received sight,

ἀναβλέπω

and

καί

they followed

ἀκολουθέω

him.

αὐτός
