of the Spirit,

joy,

χαρά

that

ἵνα

ye be likeminded,

αὐτός

φρονέω

having

ἔχω

the same

αὐτός

love,

ἀγάπη

being of one accord,

σύμψυχος

mind.

Let nothing

μηδείς

be done through

strife

ἐριθεία

or

ἤ

vainglory;

κενοδοξία

in lowliness of mind

esteem

ἡγέομαι

other

ἀλλήλων

better than

ὑπερέχω

themselves.

on his own things,

robbery

κενόω

himself

ἑαυτοῦ

of no reputation,

and took upon him

λαμβάνω

the form

μορφή

of a servant,

δοῦλος

and was made

γίνομαι

in

the likeness

ὁμοίωμα

of men:

ἄνθρωπος

εὑρίσκω

in fashion

σχῆμα

as

ὡς

a man,

ἄνθρωπος

he humbled

ταπεινόω

himself,

and became

γίνομαι

obedient

ὑπήκοος

μέχρι

death,

θάνατος

even

δέ

the death

θάνατος

of the cross.

murmurings

disputings:

blameless

the sons

without rebuke,

the midst

perverse

διαστρέφω

nation,

ye shine

as

lights

the world;

of life;

may rejoice

vain,

vain.

the sacrifice

may be of good comfort,

their own,

the things which are

it necessary

ἀναγκαῖος

to send

to

πρός

you

ὑμᾶς

Epaphroditus,

Ἐπαφρόδιτος

μοῦ

brother,

ἀδελφός

companion in labour,

συνεργός

and

καί

fellowsoldier,

συστρατιώτης

but

δέ

your

ὑμῶν

messenger,

ἀπόστολος

and

καί

he that ministered

λειτουργός

to my

μοῦ

wants.

he

ἦν

longed after

ἐπιποθέω

you

ὑμᾶς

all,

πᾶς

and

was full of heaviness,

ἀδημονέω

because

διότι

that ye had heard

ἀκούω

that

ὅτι

he had been sick.

indeed

he was sick

ἀσθενέω

nigh

παραπλήσιον

unto death:

θάνατος

but

ἀλλά

God

had mercy

ἐλεέω

on him;

only,

μόνον

ἀλλά

on me

ἐμέ

also,

lest

ἵνα

I should have

ἔχω

sorrow

λύπη

upon

ἐπί

sorrow.

the more carefully,

σπουδαιοτέρως

that,

when ye see

οἶδα

αὐτός

ye may rejoice,

the less sorrowful.

ἔργον

of Christ

he was nigh

ἐγγίζω

unto

μέχρι

death,

not regarding

παραβουλεύομαι

his life,

ψυχή

to

ἵνα

supply

ἀναπληρόω

your

ὑμῶν

lack

ὑστέρημα

of service

λειτουργία

toward

πρός

me.
