a Lamb

μετά

him

αὐτός

an hundred

ἑκατόν

forty

τεσσαράκοντα

and four

τέσσαρες

thousand,

χιλιάς

having

ἔχω

his

αὐτός

Father's

πατήρ

name

ὄνομα

written

γράφω

in

ἐπί

their

αὐτός

foreheads.

μέτωπον

καί

I heard

ἀκούω

a voice

φωνή

from

ἐκ

heaven,

οὐρανός

as

ὡς

the voice

φωνή

of many

πολύς

waters,

ὕδωρ

and

καί

as

ὡς

the voice

φωνή

of a great

μέγας

thunder:

βροντή

and

καί

I heard

ἀκούω

the voice

φωνή

of harpers

κιθαρῳδός

harping

κιθαρίζω

with

ἐν

their

αὐτός

harps:

κιθάρα

they sung

ᾄδω

as it were

ὡς

a new

καινός

song

ᾠδή

before

ἐνώπιον

the throne,

θρόνος

and

καί

before

ἐνώπιον

the four

τέσσαρες

beasts,

ζῷον

and

καί

the elders:

πρεσβύτερος

and

καί

no man

οὐδείς

could

δύναμαι

learn

μανθάνω

that song

ᾠδή

but

εἰ

the hundred

ἑκατόν

and forty

τεσσαράκοντα

and four

τέσσαρες

thousand,

χιλιάς

which

ὁ

were redeemed

ἀγοράζω

from

ἀπό

the earth.

are they

μολύνω

not

οὐ

defiled

μολύνω

with

μετά

women;

γυνή

they are

virgins.

which

ὁ

follow

ἀκολουθέω

the Lamb

ἀρνίον

whithersoever

ὅπου

he goeth.

were redeemed

from

ἀπό

among men,

being the firstfruits

ἀπαρχή

unto God

and

to the Lamb.

was found

εὑρίσκω

guile:

δόλος

for

they are

ἐνώπιον

unto them that dwell

κατοικέω

ἐπί

the earth,

to every

πᾶς

nation,

ἔθνος

kindred,

καί

tongue,

γλῶσσα

καί

people,

Saying

a loud

μέγας

voice,

φωνή

Fear

φοβέομαι

God,

θεός

and

καί

give

δίδωμι

glory

δόξα

to him;

αὐτός

for

ὅτι

the hour

ὥρα

of his

αὐτός

judgment

κρίσις

is come:

ἔρχομαι

and

καί

worship

προσκυνέω

him that made

ποιέω

heaven,

οὐρανός

and

καί

earth,

γῆ

and

καί

the sea,

θάλασσα

and

καί

the fountains

πηγή

of waters.

ἄλλος

angel,

ἄγγελος

saying,

λέγω

Babylon

Βαβυλών

is fallen,

πίπτω

is fallen,

πίπτω

that great

μέγας

city,

πόλις

because

ὅτι

she made

ποτίζω

all

πᾶς

nations

ἔθνος

drink

ποτίζω

of

ἐκ

the wine

οἶνος

of the wrath

θυμός

of her

αὐτός

fornication.

followed

ἀκολουθέω

them,

saying

a loud

μέγας

voice,

If any man

εἴ

worship

προσκυνέω

the beast

θηρίον

and

καί

his

αὐτός

image,

εἰκών

and

καί

receive

λαμβάνω

his mark

χάραγμα

in

ἐπί

his

αὐτός

forehead,

μέτωπον

or

ἤ

in

ἐπί

his

αὐτός

hand,

χείρ

The same

shall drink

πίνω

of

ἐκ

the wine

οἶνος

of the wrath

θυμός

of God,

θεός

which

ὁ

is poured out

κεράννυμι

without mixture

ἄκρατος

into

ἐν

the cup

ποτήριον

of his

αὐτός

indignation;

ὀργή

and

καί

he shall be tormented

βασανίζω

with

ἐν

fire

πῦρ

and

καί

brimstone

θεῖον

in the presence

ἐνώπιον

of the holy

ἅγιος

angels,

ἄγγελος

and

καί

in the presence

ἐνώπιον

of the Lamb:

the smoke

καπνός

of their

torment

βασανισμός

ascendeth up

ἀναβαίνω

for

εἰς

ever

αἰών

and ever:

αἰών

and

they have

ἔχω

no

οὐ

rest

ἀνάπαυσις

day

ἡμέρα

nor

καί

night,

νύξ

who

ὁ

worship

προσκυνέω

the beast

θηρίον

and

καί

his

αὐτός

image,

εἰκών

and

καί

whosoever

εἴ

receiveth

λαμβάνω

the mark

χάραγμα

of his

αὐτός

name.

the patience

ὑπομονή

of the saints:

ἅγιος

here

ὧδε

are they that keep

τηρέω

the commandments

ἐντολή

of God,

θεός

and

καί

the faith

πίστις

of Jesus.

a voice

from

ἐκ

heaven

unto me,

Blessed

μακάριος

are the dead

the Lord

from henceforth:

Yea,

saith

the Spirit,

ἵνα

they may rest

ἀναπαύω

from

labours;

κόπος

δέ

works

do follow

them.

λευκός

cloud,

νεφέλη

upon

the cloud

νεφέλη

one sat

κάθημαι

like

ὅμοιος

unto the Son

υἱός

of man,

ἄνθρωπος

having

ἔχω

on

ἐπί

his

αὐτός

head

κεφαλή

a golden

χρυσοῦς

crown,

στέφανος

and

καί

in

ἐν

his

αὐτός

hand

χείρ

a sharp

ὀξύς

sickle.

angel

ἄγγελος

came

ἐξέρχομαι

out of

ἐκ

the temple,

ναός

crying

κράζω

with

ἐν

a loud

μέγας

voice

φωνή

to him that sat

κάθημαι

on

ἐπί

the cloud,

νεφέλη

Thrust in

πέμπω

thy

σοῦ

sickle,

δρέπανον

and

καί

reap:

θερίζω

for

ὅτι

the time

ὥρα

is come

ἔρχομαι

for thee

σοί

to reap;

θερίζω

for

ὅτι

the harvest

θερισμός

of the earth

γῆ

is ripe.

he that sat

on

the cloud

νεφέλη

thrust in

βάλλω

his

αὐτός

sickle

δρέπανον

on

ἐπί

the earth;

γῆ

and

καί

the earth

γῆ

was reaped.

And

καί

another

ἄλλος

angel

ἄγγελος

came

ἐξέρχομαι

out of

ἐκ

the temple

ναός

which

ὁ

is in

ἐν

heaven,

οὐρανός

he

αὐτός

also

καί

having

ἔχω

a sharp

ὀξύς

sickle.

δρέπανον

another

ἄλλος

angel

ἄγγελος

came

ἐξέρχομαι

out

ἐκ

from the altar,

θυσιαστήριον

which had

ἔχω

power

ἐξουσία

over

ἐπί

fire;

πῦρ

and

καί

cried

φωνέω

with a loud

μέγας

cry

κραυγή

to him that had

ἔχω

the sharp

ὀξύς

sickle,

δρέπανον

saying,

λέγω

Thrust in

πέμπω

thy

σοῦ

sharp

ὀξύς

sickle,

δρέπανον

and

καί

gather

τρυγάω

the clusters

βότρυς

of the vine

ἄμπελος

of the earth;

γῆ

for

ὅτι

her

αὐτός

grapes

σταφυλή

are fully ripe.

the angel

thrust in

βάλλω

his

αὐτός

sickle

δρέπανον

into

εἰς

the earth,

γῆ

and

καί

gathered

τρυγάω

the vine

ἄμπελος

of the earth,

γῆ

and

καί

cast

βάλλω

it into

εἰς

the great

μέγας

winepress

ληνός

of the wrath

θυμός

of God.

And

καί

the winepress

ληνός

was trodden

πατέω

without

ἔξω

the city,

πόλις

and

καί

blood

αἷμα

came

ἐξέρχομαι

out of

ἐκ

the winepress,

ληνός

even unto

ἄχρι

the horse

ἵππος

bridles,

χαλινός

by the space of

ἀπό

a thousand

χίλιοι

and six hundred

ἑξακόσιοι

furlongs.
