a stumblingblock

an occasion to fall

in his brother's way.

am persuaded

the Lord

Jesus,

there is nothing

unclean

itself:

to him that esteemeth

λογίζομαι

any thing

to be

εἶναι

unclean,

to him

it is unclean.

be evil spoken of:

righteousness,

is acceptable

the things which make for

peace,

may edify

offence.

to drink

προσκόπτω

is offended,

σκανδαλίζω

is made weak.
